CRIMORA, VA — Augusta County Sheriff Donald L. Smith has identified the man killed in a Tuesday morning shooting as 59-year-old Tony Edward Dooms, a resident of Crimora. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death began after deputies were called to a residential street in the early hours of April 14, 2026.
